He formerly served as a director of American Residential Properties, Inc. until its acquisition in 2016, as Chairman of the Board and Executive Chair of Bob Evans Farms, Inc. until its acquisition in 2018, as a director of the Global Income Trust, a nontraded public real estate investment trust, until its acquisition in 2015, as a director of Sonic Corporationration until 2014, and as a director of OCharleys Inc. until its acquisition in 2012. He is also a member of the Board of AdvisorsManagers of Quiznos, Border Partners and United Pacific Oil, which are privately held companies. He received a B.A. in Accounting from the University of West Florida. Mr. Benham is qualified to serve as a trustee of the company because of his experience as a senior executive officer at, and consultant to, various business enterprises, his experience as a board member of other publicly traded companies and his expertise in accounting and finance. since 2016.
