Madam Zhu Yanlai is Deputy Chief Executive Officer Planning and Implementationof BOC Hong Kong Ltd. She joined the Group as the General Manager of Economics and Strategic Planning Department of the Company since the merger of the Group in October 2001 and was appointed as Assistant Chief Executive in May 2010. She is currently a Nonexecutive Director of Nanyang Commercial Bank Limited a whollyowned subsidiary of the Company. Mdm. Zhu joined Bank of China Limited in 1997 and was the Head of Business Development of BOC and Assistant General Manager of Hong Kong and Macau Regional Office of BOC. Prior to joining BOC Mdm. Zhu worked for Royal Bank of Canada and Nesbitt Burns Bank of Montreal Group. She was previously the visiting scholar of York University in Canada and the lecturer in Renmin University of China. Mdm. Zhu obtained a Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Regina Sask Canada and graduated from Renmin University of China with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Philosophy. since 2013.
