The company has return on total asset (ROA) of (0.3993) % which means that it has lost $0.3993 on every $100 spent on assets. This is way below average. Similarly, it shows a return on equity (ROE) of (0.6214) %, meaning that it generated substantial loss on money invested by shareholders. Maple Gold's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Maple Gold manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities.
Maple Gold Mines has accumulated 143.07 K in total debt with debt to equity ratio (D/E) of 0.01, which may suggest the company is not taking enough advantage from borrowing. Maple Gold Mines has a current ratio of 5.56, suggesting that it is liquid and has the ability to pay its financial obligations in time and when they become due. Debt can assist Maple Gold until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Maple Gold's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Maple Gold Mines sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Maple to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Maple Gold's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
