He is currently the managing member of Indigo Partners LLC and a managing partner of Newbridge Latin America L.P., both of which are private equity firms. Mr. Franke is chairman of the board of directors of Frontier and JetSmart Airlines and was the founding chairman of Tiger Airways Holdings, a member of the board of directors of Spirit and the chief executive officerchairman of America West Airlines from 1993 to 2001.
