Mr. Joao Andrade Vieira da Silva has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco do Estado de Sergipe SA since January 21, 2009. Previously, he served as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company between January 25, 2007 and January 21, 2009. He was Vice Chairman of the Board of the Company between February 22, 2007 and January 21, 2009. He has worked for the Company for over 25 years in such posts as Manager of the Data Processing Centre. He also served as Member of the CDIIndustrial Development Board of Sergipe, State Member of the Board of SEBRAESE, Member of the Board of EMDAGRO and Member of the Getulio Vargas Foundation and Board Member of AsbaceATPAssociation of the State Commercial Banks in Brasilia. He obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Sergipe. He is also doing a Ph.D. studies in Business Mangement at Universidade de Valladolid, Spain. since 2009.
