Prior to that, Carin held roles as President of Specialty Businesses where she managed a portfolio of technologybased businesses with revenues of US2.1 billion, and also served as Vice President, Carbon Businesses, where she was appointed to lead a startup carbon fiber business, overseeing the first US200 million demonstration plant. She currently serves as a director on the board of Vermilion Energy and Whiting Oil Company. She also serves as chair of the ColoradoWyoming Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Carin holds a BS, Marketing from the University of Colorado and a MS in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. since 2015.
