Tisch is also a director of our subsidiaries, CNA, Diamond Offshore and the general partner of Boardwalk Pipeline. He was also a director of K12 Inc. from 2001 to 2017. EXPERIENCE: Mr. Tisch has served as a member of Loews’s Office of the President since 1999 and, prior to that time, had served the company in a number of other executive positions. This experience has provided him with broad knowledge of and insight into Loews and its operations and businesses and has enabled him to be instrumental in providing our company with strategic direction and operational oversight. Our Board and its Nominating and Governance Committee believe that his direct experience in managing Loews’s business, as well as his institutional knowledge, is of critical importance to our Board in fulfilling its responsibilities.
