Mr. Mark G. Papa is NonExecutive Chairman of the Board of the Company. He was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Centennial Resource Development Inc., an independent oil producer, since October 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Papa served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Silver Run Acquisition Corporationration from November 2015 until its business combination with Centennial Resource Production, LLC in October 2016. Mr. Papa is also an advisor to Riverstone Holdings, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in energy investments. Prior to joining Riverstone in February 2015, Mr. Papa was Chairman and CEO of EOG Resources, an independent oil company, from August 1999 to December 2013. Mr. Papa served as a member of EOGs board of directors from August 1999 until December 2014. He worked at EOG for 32 years in various management positions. Mr. Papa was retired from December 2013 through February 2015. Mr. Papa also served on the board of Oil States International, Inc., an international field services company, from February 2001 to August 2018 and was a member of its compensation and nominating and corporate governance committees. He has served on the board of Casa de Esperanza, a nonprofit organization serving children in crisis situations, since November 2006. since 2019.
