Mr. Chau received his bachelor of laws degree in November 1991 and the postgraduate certificate in laws in November 1992 from the City University of Hong Kong . In January 2003, he obtained his bachelor of laws degree from Tsinghua University. Mr. Chau was qualified to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong since August 1994 and was a ChinaAppointed Attesting Officer since April 2006.
